Springback Control in Complex Sheet-Metal Forming Based on Advanced High-Strength Steel

Sheet-metal forming is one of the most important manufacturing processes in automotive industry. This study proposes a multiobjective optimisation scheme that controls both sheet-metal formability and springback. First, mechanical properties DP590 steel were characterised to obtain parameters limit diagram (FLD) DP590. Then, FLD, thinning rate, average springback selected as quality evaluation indices. Response surface tests then conducted for different process A-pillar side-stiffener drawing analyse steel’s The optimal obtained using algorithm based on an improved particle swarm method.
